One Wisconsin :: Southwest is dedicated to raise the level of volleyball in Southwestern Wisconsin to a point it has never been before. Our teams will train and compete in a competitive atmosphere designed specifically to meet the individual needs of our Regional programs. All of our teams practice and train together allowing us to take full advantage of the competitive edge learned in those situations. Training includes team practices, specialty sessions and full club practices.
Alyssa King is entering her first season with One Wisconsin.
King served as the head coach at Rock Valley College from 2012-2016. King was the youth program director for VC United Volleyball Club. She also coached club volleyball with Club Fusion, the largest and number one recruited volleyball club in the country.
King was an assistant coach for the Keith Country Day high school team that won the 1A state title in 2013 and served as head coach for the Keith Country Day middle school team that went undefeated in 2013. Prior to that, she also coached at DeKalb High School in 2012.
As a player, King started her college playing career at Middle Tennessee State University where, as a freshman in 2007, her team advanced to the Sweet 16 for NCAA Division I. She transferred to the University of Pittsburgh for her junior season in 2009 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2011. While finishing her degree at the University of Pittsburgh, she also coached club volleyball for the Pittsburgh Magic in 2011.
King is originally from Rochelle, Illinois.
